CYCLOHEXANONE (C6H10O)
Properties: Colourless liquid with an odour suggestive of peppermint & acetone

Applications: It is used as a solvent and thinner for lacquers, especially those containing Nitrocellulose of Vinyl Chloride Polymer and Copolymer Resins including Polyvinyl Chloride & Methacrylate Ester Polymers. It is an excellent solvent for DDT and organic Phosphorus insecticides and pesticides.

Properties: Colourless liquid with an odour suggestive of peppermint & acetone.

Applications: It is used as a solvent for resin, paint and varnish and extraction of essential oils. It also works as an intermediate in the Manufacture of Caprolactam.
